There is no consolidated list of the conferences in this field. Chapter websites go stale, events get folded into other events, and the roundups that do exist are largely copied from each other and from listing sites that never checked. So we built one, and checked every entry against the organizer's own website.
How to read this. Every entry below was checked against the organizer's own website on the date shown. Nothing here is taken from a conference-listing site, a vendor blog or a 'top conferences' roundup. Where a detail is blank, the organizer had not published it — we have not filled gaps with guesses. Where an organizer publishes nothing — and many chapters publish nothing — the entry says so rather than filling the gap. We also list events that have stopped, because knowing a conference is discontinued saves more time than knowing it exists. Last checked 2026-08-04.
Four things worth knowing before you plan a year. The Penn State / PaTTAN National Autism Conference no longer exists as a standalone event — it has been folded into a merged PaTTAN conference where autism is one strand among four, which is a real reduction in autism-specific programming for anyone who relied on it. The Autism Society's national conference is on hiatus, and a stale 2025 registration site is still live and will mislead you. Five state chapters look dormant — Montana, Delaware, Oregon, Missouri and Nebraska, whose domain is now parked for sale. And the single biggest obstacle to a directory like this is that a dozen chapters put every logistical detail behind a registration portal that publishes nothing a search engine or a prospective attendee can read.

The scientific and practitioner conferences of the field itself — where the research is presented and most BCBAs earn their continuing education.
Association for Behavior Analysis International
The flagship event in behavior analysis, and the largest. In-person plus livestream. ABAI has announced a 54th convention for 2028 but has published no dates or city. The events page and the registration page state the 2026 span slightly differently — 21–25 May overall, with workshops 21–22 May and the convention proper 23–25 May.
Association for Behavior Analysis International
Smaller and more focused than the Annual Convention, built around invited speakers rather than an open call. 2027 is the 21st edition. Do not assume the month: 2024 was March, 2025 and 2026 were January, 2027 is March again.
Association for Behavior Analysis International, co-hosted with the European Association for Behaviour Analysis
The 13th international conference. EABA is co-hosting rather than running its own congress in 2026 and points its members here. Not to be confused with INSAR's 2026 meeting, which was also in Prague, in April.
Association for Behavior Analysis International
Aimed at behavior technicians rather than certified analysts — RBTs, ABATs, BCATs, IBTs and TdCs. Fully online, with six months of on-demand access after the live day. Worth knowing about because almost nothing else in the field is built for this audience.
Association of Professional Behavior Analysts
Practice-and-profession oriented rather than research-first — APBA is the professional-issues and advocacy body for practicing behavior analysts. 2027 is the 17th annual convention. A 2028 edition is already published for 17–19 March in Denver, CO. APBA also runs a separate Leadership Conference.
International Society for Autism Research
The premier autism-science meeting worldwide, for scientists and trainees rather than practitioners seeking CE. Began in 2001 as IMFAR and was renamed in 2018. A 2028 meeting is announced for 3–6 May in North America, city not yet named.
Association for Contextual Behavioral Science
Adjacent to mainstream ABA rather than inside it — this is the acceptance and commitment therapy and relational frame theory community. Behavior-analytic in lineage, and it draws a meaningful share of behavior analysts.
Standard Celeration Society
The 39th annual conference in 2026 — one of the longest continuously running specialty conferences in behavior analysis, built around Precision Teaching and the Standard Celeration Chart. Scholarships are offered for students and early-career attendees.
European Association for Behaviour Analysis
No standalone congress in 2026 — EABA is co-hosting the ABAI International Conference in Prague instead. The 2027 Bucharest edition is announced with the city confirmed but no dates. Host history runs Amiens 2000 through Brno 2024, with the 2020 edition cancelled for COVID-19.
UK Society for Behaviour Analysis
The 2026 event was only the third edition, so treat future years as expected rather than announced. The society's own website is unreliable for dates — several conference pages return errors — so this entry was verified against the society's own event listing rather than its site. UK-SBA also runs a Speakers' Series each November.
Psychological Society of Ireland
The 19th annual conference in 2026: a workshop and poster day followed by a day of symposia, oral presentations and keynotes. The group was renamed from Division of Behaviour Analysis, so older references use the previous name.
Association for Behaviour Analysis Australia
The 11th annual conference in 2026. Audience includes positive behavior support practitioners as well as behavior analysts, which reflects the workforce Australia's NDIS funds. Two organizer domains are in use — one for the association, one for the conference.
Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis
Provincial rather than national, but the largest recurring behavior-analysis conference in Canada. Data quality here is poor: the public conferences page has not been updated past 2023, while the homepage links to a 2026 event site we could not read. A 2026 conference clearly exists; its dates and venue are not published anywhere we could verify.
Association for Behavior Analysis International
ABAI's own archives list only two editions ever, 2012 and 2024, and nothing appears on the current events page. Treat it as occasional — do not expect a yearly instance.
Association for Behavior Analysis International
A methodology-focused specialty conference whose first and so far only edition was 2025. No repeat is listed, so it is not yet an established series.
Nearly every state has an ABAI-affiliated chapter, and most run an annual conference. They are cheaper, closer and easier to present at than the national events — and far harder to find, because chapter websites are the least maintained corner of this field.
California Association for Behavior Analysis
The largest state chapter conference in the country by reputation, and effectively regional rather than California-only. 2027 theme is 'Roots & Growth'.
Florida Association for Behavior Analysis
The 46th annual conference, and one of the largest state chapter events. Capped at 2,000 in-person attendees with no on-site registration, so it is worth booking early. Pre-conference workshops are ticketed separately.
Texas Association for Behavior Analysis
The 41st annual conference, and one of the few chapters publishing an exact CEU count. TxABA also runs a separate regional conference, held in El Paso on 12 September 2026.
Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy
Organized by day rather than by track: public schools and consulting BCBAs on the Wednesday, adult services on the Thursday, organizational behavior management on the Friday. That OBM day is unusual among chapter conferences. Venue not yet published.
Massachusetts Association for Applied Behavior Analysis
The 16th annual conference. Massachusetts is unusual in having two chapter conferences — MassABA in May and BABAT in October.
Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan
Use baam.org — the older Eastern Michigan University page is stale, with content stopping in 2017. Note the acronym collision with Mississippi's BAAMS.
New York State Association for Behavior Analysis
The 37th annual conference, themed 'Behavior Analysis for Everyone: Bridging Populations, Building Skills'. Registration was still listed as opening soon in early August 2026.
Ohio Association for Behavior Analysis
The chapter states its call for papers opens in September 2026, which implies a 2027 edition, but nothing is announced. The site is mid-rebuild so detail pages are thin. The venue has been stable across recent years.
New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis
The 19th annual (2024) is the most recent edition we could fully verify. Later editions exist in the chapter's members portal but did not publish dates or venue, and the main conferences page is itself out of date. Treat the current-year edition as unconfirmed.
Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis
The chapter is clearly active and archives editions from 2022 through 2025, but every logistical detail sits behind a registration portal we could not read. No dates could be confirmed from organizer-published pages.
Georgia Association for Behavior Analysis
2026 marks the chapter's 25th anniversary with added events. Use the .org domain — georgia-aba.com is an abandoned older site whose newest content is from 2014.
North Carolina Association for Behavior Analysis
The 38th annual conference. One of the few chapters with next-year dates already published. The chapter does not retain a page for the 2026 edition, so we could not confirm those dates.
Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis

Date confirmed by the chapter; venue not yet published. Includes a poster session open to clinicians, researchers and students statewide.
South Carolina Association for Behavior Analysis
The 15th annual conference.
Arizona Association for Behavior Analysis
In-person registration sold out for 2025, so book early. A 2026 page exists but published no dates or pricing as of early August 2026.
Colorado Association for Behavior Analysis
The 2025 dates come from the chapter's own annual report rather than its website, which carries no conference page and lists no events after 2023. The chapter is active — its news section is current — but conference logistics are hard to verify. A free RBT workshop runs alongside.
Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis
A 2026 conference is announced at the same Nashville venue, but the dates are not published in readable form. The chapter's information pages have not been refreshed since 2022 even though it is active.
Wisconsin Association for Behavior Analysis
Registration is open for 2026 but dates and venue sit on a portal we could not read. Membership is required to attend. Do not confuse WisABA with Women in Behavior Analysis, a national organization with a similar acronym.
Minnesota Northland Association for Behavior Analysis
Serves Minnesota and the broader Northland region. Presenters and sponsor tiers are published; pricing and CEU counts are not.
Hoosier Association for Behavior Analysis

We have left the year blank rather than guess. The cadence — annual, October, Birmingham — is well supported across their pages.
Louisiana Behavior Analysis Association
Specific venue not yet published.
Kentucky Association for Behavior Analysis
A Friday evening social at a local brewery followed by a Saturday workshop day carrying the CEUs. The 2026 edition was not announced as of early August 2026.
Oklahoma Association for Behavior Analysis
Two domains exist; the .org is the live one carrying the 2026 conference.
Kansas Association for Behavior Analysis
Covers Kansas plus the Kansas City metropolitan area including three Missouri counties. Affiliated with ABAI since 1999, but the newest schedule page reference we found is 2024, so the site may not have been updated since.
Iowa Association for Behavior Analysis
The 14th annual conference, with a pre-conference workshop alongside. Poster submissions run from mid-July to mid-September.
Rhode Island Association for Behavior Analysis
Five speakers, a panel and a poster session with lunch, in a single day.
New Hampshire Association for Behavior Analysis
Venue within Portsmouth, pricing and CEU counts sit on a conference page we could not read.
Vermont Association for Behavior Analysis
The homepage carries a 2026 conference banner, but the events listing shows nothing and no dates, venue or pricing are published. The site is only partially maintained.
The Association for Maine Behavior Analysis
The 12th annual conference, with a consistent run confirmed from the chapter's own archive: 2022 through 2026 without a gap. Venue is not stated on the event listings.
Hawai'i Association for Behavior Analysis
The 21st annual convention, hybrid with virtual attendance available. Note the acronym collision with Indiana's Hoosier ABA.
Four Corners Association for Behavior Analysis
A true regional conference spanning Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. Worth flagging because New Mexico has no standalone chapter, so this is effectively the New Mexico option. Past conference galleries exist for 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2024 — note the gaps.
Southeastern Association for Behavior Analysis
Regional rather than single-state, and more research-oriented than most chapter conferences. SEABA does not publish a defined state list, so the states shown are indicative.
North Dakota Association for Behavior Analysis
The chapter's main site is badly out of date — the conference page still shows a 2020 virtual event and the homepage still advertises the 2025 conference as upcoming. The 2026 details come from the chapter's own registration page instead.
Pennsylvania Association for Behavior Analysis
Worth reading carefully. The most recent full annual conference on record is March 2025. For 2026 the organization ran a one-day workshop series instead, and its events page currently shows nothing upcoming. Whether the annual conference returns in 2027 is unannounced. Pennsylvania also has a separate Philadelphia Metropolitan chapter for which we found no conference.
Idaho Association for Behavior Analysis
Registration for 2026 is open and a keynote is announced, but dates, venue and pricing sit behind a portal we could not read.
Behavior Analysis Association of Mississippi
A young chapter — the event archive includes a second annual conference, so the 2026 edition is probably only the fourth or fifth. Registration is open but dates and venue are not published.
Arkansas Association for Behavior Analysis
The site looks current — active membership and job board sections — but the events listing returns no conference and the annual conference URL is dead. The last widely referenced edition was April 2022.
Oregon Association for Behavior Analysis
The site shows no events on either its events page or its calendar, with no conference page and no archive. The chapter's web presence appears fragmented across two domains. We could not confirm any recent edition.
Missouri Association for Behavior Analysis
The chapter's own site lists conference pages for 2007 to 2012, 2016 to 2021 and 2023, with nothing since. Note it has skipped years before, so a gap is not conclusive.
Nebraska Association for Behavior Analysis
The chapter's former domain now redirects to a domain-for-sale page. It ran a 2025 conference through a registration platform and is still listed as an affiliated chapter, so the organization appears to exist — but it currently has no verifiable web home. Nebraska needs direct outreach.
Montana Association for Behavior Analysis
The site renders in an unpublished preview state with an empty event calendar and no content under meetings. No conference, past or upcoming, could be confirmed.
Delaware Association for Behavior Analysis
The site states an intention to host an annual conference but carries a 2022 copyright and several placeholders, and no conference has ever been listed. The chapter filed an annual report in 2025, so the organization exists even though the conference does not appear to.
Conferences aimed at autistic people and their families rather than at clinicians. Several are run by autistic people themselves.
Autism Society of America
On hiatus. The Autism Society published a statement that it would not hold an in-person national conference in 2025, despite that being its 60th anniversary year, and said it was reworking the format to widen participation and reduce cost barriers. As of August 2026 its site shows a placeholder and no 2026 conference. Be careful: a 2025 registration microsite advertising a June 2025 Chicago event is still live and predates the cancellation. Many Autism Society state chapters continue to run their own conferences.
Autism New Jersey
The 44th annual conference, and described by the organizer as the state's largest autism-specific event, with attendance regularly above 1,200. In person, with session recordings released afterwards to two-day attendees. One of the strongest state-level family conferences in the country.
Autism Society of North Carolina
One of the larger state-chapter conferences, single-day. Notable for pricing autistic adults below professionals rather than charging a single rate.
Autism Society San Francisco Bay Area
Focused specifically on autistic adults and adult services — mental health, financial planning, housing, community supports — with research updates from Stanford and UCSF. 2026 is the first year with a full virtual option. Adult-focused autism conferences are rare, which is what makes this one worth knowing about.
Profound Autism Alliance with Nashoba Learning Group
Third edition in 2026, focused specifically on profound autism across the lifespan and drawing research, medicine, treatment, advocacy and education together. In person with an online option; 2026 recordings are sold for streaming.
The Autscape Organisation
The most established autistic-run, autistic-space conference, and the effective successor in spirit to Autreat, the US autistic-run retreat that ended after 2013. Explicitly by and for autistic people, though non-autistic attendees are welcome, with the environment designed around autistic sensory and social needs. Residential and day-only options.
Autistic Self Advocacy Network
Not a conference — a selective week-long leadership academy training autistic college students in organizing and disability policy. Self-identification is accepted; no formal diagnosis is required. Included because ASAN runs no general public conference and people look for one.
Autism-Europe, with a national member association as local host
One of the largest autism congresses in Europe and explicitly multi-stakeholder, with strong participation by autistic self-advocates alongside researchers and policymakers. The Dublin congress drew over 2,000 participants from more than 60 countries. Triennial, so there is no 2026 or 2027 edition.
Australian Advisory Board on Autism, hosted by a rotating member organization
The major autism conference for the Asia-Pacific region, with a deliberately broad audience spanning autistic people, educators, clinicians, researchers, policy makers and families. The 2027 Adelaide plan appears in press coverage rather than on an organizer site, so treat it as unconfirmed. Each edition gets its own domain, so expect the URL to change.
World Autism Organisation with Autism Association Namibia
The sixth congress, offered in person and virtually. Abstracts were invited from autistic individuals and family members as well as professionals. A warning for anyone searching this topic independently: results for 'world autism congress' are heavily polluted by predatory conference operators. This entry is verified against the organization's own congress site only.
Run by universities, state education agencies and technical assistance networks. Often the cheapest continuing education available, and sometimes free.
Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network with Penn State University
Discontinued as a standalone event and folded into a merged PaTTAN conference. The long-standing Penn State conference domain now redirects to PaTTAN's archive, which stops at 2024, and PaTTAN's replacement event states it was built from the strengths of the National Autism, HELIX and Secondary Transition conferences. Historically free or low-cost, heavily streamed, and strongly behavior-analytic. See the successor entry below.
Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network
The successor that absorbs PaTTAN's National Autism, HELIX and Secondary Transition conferences into a single event. Autism is now one strand alongside sensory disabilities, secondary transition and complex instructional needs — a meaningful narrowing of autism-specific programming for anyone who relied on the old conference.
Geneva Centre for Autism
Historically branded the International Symposium. The organizer cites over 1,000 attendees drawn from practitioners, researchers, autistic self-advocates and families.
UNC TEACCH Autism Program, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The 45th edition, offered in person and virtually. TEACCH is one of the oldest university-based autism programs in the country, and the conference reflects a structured-teaching tradition distinct from mainstream ABA.
OCALI, the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence
One of the largest autism and disabilities conferences in the US, running since 2007, with attendees the organizer reports from all 50 states and 19 countries. Covers autism alongside deaf and hard of hearing, blind and visual impairment and other low-incidence disabilities. Delivered online for 2026.
College Autism Network
Narrower than a general autism conference — aimed at people working on autism support inside colleges and universities, with a dedicated employment track. Fills a genuine gap between school-age and adult services.
Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies, hosted with Melmark
The 19th annual edition, hybrid and single-day. One of the few events that publishes exact CEU counts, and the stated audience is unusually broad — behavior analysts, psychologists, teachers, speech-language pathologists, administrators, students and parents.
UC Davis MIND Institute
Half-day and online only for 2026, and among the cheapest CE-bearing events in the field. Covers neurodevelopmental disabilities broadly rather than autism exclusively. The MIND Institute also runs a free public Distinguished Lecturer Series during the academic year.
Texas Health and Human Services Commission with the Texas Autism Research and Resource Center
One to flag carefully: two Texas state agencies publish under this name and we could not fully reconcile them. The Texas Education Agency describes an in-person conference in Austin split between educator days and a family day, on a page not updated past 2024; a separate state bulletin announced the 2026 conference as a free virtual event run by the health agency. The 2026 details here are the health agency's event.
The operator side: growth, payer contracting, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and law. No CEUs, different audience, different price point.
Council of Autism Service Providers
The main event for autism service provider organizations, aimed at leadership teams rather than individual clinicians. Around 100 breakout sessions in 2026, which was CASP's tenth anniversary. CASP published attendance of nearly 800 for its 2024 conference. A 2027 edition is listed but undated.
Council of Autism Service Providers
Deliberately narrow — targeted at leaders with fewer than ten years in the field and capped at the first 200 registrants. Distinct from CASP's larger annual conference.

Restricted to the single top-level leader at each member organization. A small executive gathering rather than a conference.
