How to choose

Start from your size and stage, not from feature lists. A solo BCBA and a 200-client multi-site organization have almost opposite needs: the first is buried by platforms built for the second. Decide early whether you want all-in-one (one system of record, one learning curve, one vendor dependency) or best-of-breed (a dedicated clinical tool plus an operations platform). Billing depth is where the bodies are buried — ask exactly how authorizations, claim scrubbing, and denials work in a live demo driven by YOUR workflows, not the vendor's script. Almost nobody in this category publishes pricing; get quotes against your actual client count and ask what happens to the price at renewal.
