Read before using these numbers

The District does cover and pay for ABA. It has covered autism spectrum disorder services under EPSDT since 1 October 2023 under the state plan amendment cited above. This is not a jurisdiction that pays nothing.
We do not yet publish per-code figures because the fee schedule is served only through an interactive portal query rather than as a document. The amendment states that ASD fees are published on the Medicaid website, and the portal link above is where a reader can query codes 97151 through 97158 directly.
This is an access limitation on our side, not a finding about the District. It is deliberately not recorded as 'no fee-for-service rate published', which would be false.
Checked 12 August 2026: the DC Medicaid provider portal (dc-medicaid.com), including the fee schedule inquiry, was returning an error page and could not be reached even from an ordinary browser. Per-code figures still cannot be extracted until the portal is restored.
