Read before using these numbers

Minnesota delivers ABA through the EIDBI benefit. Every service on this page is billed with modifier UB, and the qualified supervising professional must appear on all claims other than the evaluation.
97152, 97158 and 0362T carry factor code 4 on the fee schedule, which the schedule's own legend defines as 'general price not covered'. Minnesota Medicaid does not price these three codes.
The fee schedule prints no time unit for any code. The 15-minute unit above comes from the same agency's EIDBI billing grid (January 2026), which states '1 = 15 min.' against every code listed here and adds that a unit may be billed only when the time spent meets or exceeds the midpoint — for a 15-minute code, at least eight minutes.
The dollar figures are the fee schedule's TOTAL ALLOW column, which the billing grid treats as the 100% rate. Level II providers are paid 80% of it and Level III providers 50% for 97153 and 97154, and Level II 80% for 97155, 97156 and 97157. DHS publishes those percentages rather than per-level dollar amounts, so this page does not report per-level dollars.
Minnesota is deliberately absent from our 97153 hourly comparison. The state tiers 97153 by provider level and publishes only a base rate plus percentages, and neither the fee schedule nor the billing grid states which tier corresponds to the behavior technician who delivers 97153. Picking one would be our assumption, not Minnesota's figure.
The fee schedule's cover page warns that the amounts in the Total Allow column 'do not include the legislative decreases or increases'. What is actually paid can differ from the printed allowable.
