Read before using these numbers

As printed, New Hampshire's technician code pays more than its professional codes: 97153 is $17.79 while 97151, 97155 and 97156 are all $16.43. That is what the schedule says. We read it twice, from two different extractions of the same PDF, and it is not a transcription error.
The covered procedures report has no time-unit column. Of the general fee-for-service rows, only 0373T states a unit, in its printed short description. We report the other rows as 'not stated' rather than assume 15 minutes.
New Hampshire's own Medicaid to Schools code table does print '15 min' as the unit for 97151 and 97153, and the current schedule prices the school rows and the general rows identically. That is suggestive but it is not a statement about the general fee-for-service rows, so we do not turn it into an hourly figure. New Hampshire is therefore absent from our 97153 hourly comparison.
The 'Max Unit Amt' column — 32, 24, 18 or 8 depending on the row — is a units limit, not a rate. The payment figure is the 'Prcng Amt' column. The report does not state the period most of those limits apply to.
97152, 97157, 97158 and 0362T appear nowhere in the covered procedures report, and nowhere in the companion manually priced items schedule. New Hampshire publishes no fee-for-service price for them.
Rows carrying modifier TM are Medicaid to Schools claims, billed for services delivered under a student's IEP. They are listed separately above because they have different service-authorization and unit-limit values, even though the dollar figure matches.
This is the fee-for-service schedule as of 1 July 2026. Row-level pricing begin dates are 07/01/2023 except 97154, which begins 09/01/2025. Managed-care organization payments can differ from fee-for-service.
