Read before using these numbers

Wyoming publishes separate, higher rates for three codes under its developmental disability waivers: 97151 at $32.27, 97152 at $20.56 and 97153 at $19.23, identical across the Comprehensive and Supports waivers for both adults and children, all effective 1 July 2026. The figures above are the base state-plan rates. The remaining codes have no waiver-specific rows.
Coverage is state-plan rather than waiver-only. The provider manual states that ABA treatments are allowable for children aged zero to 20 with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. The fee schedule nonetheless carries duplicate rows for an age band of 21 and over at identical amounts; the manual's age and diagnosis limits govern.
Wyoming does not publish a standalone ABA fee schedule. The state's fee schedule pages list Applied Behavior Analysis Treatment but link to a single consolidated file of nearly 98,000 rows, regenerated in the first and third weeks of each month. The dollar figures come from the FACTOR column on rows whose factor code reads 'FEE SCHEDULE'.
The state's fee schedule index shows a last review date of 1 January 2026 for ABA. That is a webpage marker, not the rate effective date — the rate rows themselves print 1 July 2026.
The fee schedule prints no unit column. The 15-minute unit comes from the CMS-1500 Provider Manual's covered services table, which prints 'Per 15 Min' against every ABA code. The maximum units a day quoted above are utilization limits from that manual, not rates.
The manual notes there is no separate supervision code — technician-code payment is meant to cover total time including supervision, at roughly one hour of supervision per ten hours of direct care. Indirect services are billable only under 97151, and 97153 and 97155 are the only behavioral health services permitted to overlap in time.
One error in the state's own manual: its covered services table prints the multiple-family-group description against both 97156 and 97157. The fee schedule's own descriptions are correct and are what we have followed.
