Hi Rasmus

Named after the founder's autistic son. Danish, and the only company here with a verifiable founding date.

Nikolaj Hendriksen's son Rasmus was diagnosed with autism. The company's own account describes him as still nonverbal at four, and the family being told the condition was lifelong and they should lower their expectations. After ABA therapy he progressed. Hendriksen went on to build software for it, and named the company after his son.14

Because the company is registered in Denmark, it appears in a public business register in a way no American competitor does. The register shows it was formed on 16 August 2019 in Copenhagen, and records nine employees in the Danish entity.2

Hi Rasmus has grown mostly through partnerships rather than capital. It integrates with the Australian platform Lumary and with AlohaABA, and the founder's family has since relocated to Colorado.564

  • No venture round has ever been announced, and we could find none in Danish or US filings.2
  • The company has both a Danish entity and a US one, and we could not establish which is the parent. The public register we consulted returns no ownership data at all.2
  • Three different headquarters appear across sources: Copenhagen in the register, Nashville on the company's contact page, and Lexington, South Carolina on an industry association listing.2
  • Group-wide employee count, customer count and revenue are not published. The staff figure above covers the Danish entity only.2
  • The company's own site spells the founder's surname both Hendriksen and Henriksen. The Danish register uses Hendriksen.1
