Catalyst (Ensora) Alternatives: Data Collection Options if You're Re-Evaluating

Catalyst's public product pages now redirect to Ensora Health's general site. If that has you re-evaluating, here are the documented data-collection alternatives — and the questions to ask Ensora before you move anything.

Most alternatives pages exist because people outgrow a product. This one exists because of a corporate story: Catalyst — one of the longest-running dedicated ABA data-collection products — is now an Ensora Health product whose public trail has thinned. In our checks (July 2026, re-confirmed on the profile since), Catalyst’s product pages redirect to Ensora’s general site, the mobile app has been renamed Ensora Data Collection, and Ensora’s homepage centers its mental-health and rehab-therapy lines, with ABA not featured. The full documented timeline is in our consolidation analysis.

Let’s be precise about what that means, because it matters both directions. There is no documented statement that Catalyst is discontinued. Existing customers may be receiving continuity communications we can’t see, and websites consolidate for boring reasons. But a buyer evaluating data collection today will struggle to find current public information about the product — and a current customer’s renewal is now also a vendor-stability question. Both groups end up asking the same thing: what else is documented?

First: the questions for Ensora

If you run Catalyst today, the cheapest move is information, not migration. Ask your account contact in writing: the product’s current name and status; the 24-month roadmap; support commitments; and data-export rights, formats, and timelines if the product line changes. Then test your export nowour switching guide covers why a calm export test today beats a forced one during a transition, and what a complete export actually contains. If the answers are solid, staying may be the right call; incumbency is worth real money in retraining you don’t do.

The documented alternatives

Catalyst’s historical role was the standalone clinical layer — data collection paired with a separate practice-management system (the AlohaABA + Catalyst integration announced in the Therapy Brands era is the canonical example). Its alternatives split by whether you want to keep that shape or use the moment to consolidate.

Standalone-leaning data collection. Motivity — flexible, data-first clinical collection, publishes rates; Hi Rasmus — clinical data, supervision, and caregiver collaboration with a telehealth/distributed-team emphasis, pricing not published; Raven Health — clinical data collection and practice workflows for small-to-mid teams, publishes rates; SpectrumAi (Twyll) — venture-backed, focused on structured payer-credible data, pricing not published.

Data collection inside a broader platform. Noteable — behavioral-health EHR with ABA data collection and billing, publishes rates; Passage Health — newer all-in-one spanning intake, clinical data, and billing, pricing not published; and the clinical modules of the full suites — CentralReach, Rethink Behavioral Health — covered with their trade-offs in the practice-management guide and data-collection guide.

Every profile linked above lists what the vendor documents, what it doesn’t, and the cons — because a replacement chosen on strengths alone is how you end up on this page twice.

How to run the evaluation

The four-part framework from our CentralReach alternatives guide applies unchanged, with one addition for this situation:

  1. Data export first. From Catalyst: get your export before the evaluation, so you know exactly what has to land in the new system — programs, targets, historical trial data, graphs, session notes. Into the candidate: make them demo the import of your actual export, not a clean sample.
  2. Contract terms. Term length, renewal notice, escalation rights, retention-after-exit — the clause table in the pricing guide is the checklist. Weight vendor-stability language heavily; you’re here because of it.
  3. Implementation reality. Who migrates historical data, on whose hours, at what cost, and what’s the parallel-run period where both systems live?
  4. Integration coverage. If you keep separate practice management, the integration to it is the whole product. Get the current integration list in writing — portfolio changes are exactly when integrations quietly stop being maintained.

The bigger pattern, briefly

This is what ABA software’s consolidation era looks like from the buyer’s chair: product names outliving their independent existence, and contract-level protections — notice periods, export rights, support commitments — mattering most at the exact moment a logo changes. Whatever you choose, choose it with the export tested and the renewal date in your calendar.

Facts above trace to vendor-published pages read July–August 2026, as dated on each linked profile and guide. If you’re at Ensora and can clarify the ABA line’s status, the correction channel is open and we’ll update within a week: [email protected]. We take no vendor payment.

Frequently asked

Is Catalyst being discontinued?

There is no documented statement that Catalyst is discontinued. What is documented, as of our July–August 2026 checks: Therapy Brands became Ensora Health in April 2025, Catalyst's mobile app was renamed Ensora Data Collection, and Catalyst's public product pages redirect to Ensora's general site, which currently centers mental-health and rehab-therapy products. A vanishing marketing page is not a vanishing product — but it is decision-relevant for anyone evaluating today.

What are the main alternatives to Catalyst for ABA data collection?

Platforms documenting dedicated ABA data collection include Motivity, Hi Rasmus, Raven Health, Noteable, SpectrumAi (Twyll), and Passage Health — plus the clinical modules inside full-suite platforms like CentralReach and Rethink Behavioral Health. Which is comparable depends on whether you need standalone data collection to pair with existing practice management, or a full-suite consolidation.

What should current Catalyst customers ask Ensora?

In writing: the product's current name and status under Ensora; the 24-month roadmap; support commitments; and data-export rights, formats, and timelines if the product line changes. Then test your export now, calmly — before any forced timeline does it for you.

Do Catalyst alternatives publish pricing?

Split, like the rest of the category: Motivity, Raven Health, and Noteable publish rates on their own sites (read 6 August 2026); Hi Rasmus, Passage Health, SpectrumAi, and Ensora itself do not. Our pricing guide covers what published rates exist and the contract clauses that matter more.
