NPAWorks is among the longest-serving products in ABA practice management, and among the least documented. The company that built it, CodeMetro, has never published a founding year or named a founder in any source we could reach.1

In May 2018 CodeMetro was sold, in a deal announced by Corum Group, the mergers advisory firm that ran the sale. That announcement quotes CodeMetro's chief executive, Kim Finger, and describes the buyer only as a strategic investor — it does not name Therapy Brands. The link to Therapy Brands is established separately, by KKR's 2021 announcement listing CodeMetro among the Therapy Brands portfolio.14

KKR announced its acquisition of Therapy Brands in 2021, and its release lists CodeMetro among the group's brands. Therapy Brands was renamed Ensora Health in 2025. NPAWorks is now sold within that group, which also owns Catalyst.32
